How To Remove Eyelash Extensions
Now you are done, just wipe off the remaining remover and ensure you wash your face thoroughly-Even after removing the glue, there may be some residue left behind. For this reason, use a makeup wipe to remove all the residues on the eyes and later wash your face with lukewarm water.
Set a few cup’s full bowl in a heating place. You can use 3-4 cups of boiling water to a heat safe-bowl. Alternatively, you can use a facial steamer to perform the same task.
Wrap a towel on your face and place your face above the bowl. Be careful on this step to avoid any accidents here. Face the bowl leaning forward and place your face about 30cm above the bowl. Just ensure that your face is close enough and the steam is purifying your face.
Stay on the steam for about 5-10 minutes. You have to steam your face for some time if you want the glue to loosen completely. You should set a timer to ensure you steam your face for the right time. After the eyelashes have loosened completely, pull them out from the outer corner. You can do it just the same way you did with the makeup remover. After the 5 minutes are done, the glue should have loosened completely and the next step is to remove the false eyelashes.
Erase the remaining glue-After you have removed the eyelashes, then you can use your finger to remove any remaining glue. There may be some lashes running on your lid or even on the lash band.
Use a moisturizer after washing the face. After you wash the face with cold water, you can close the poles again by simply splashing cold water over the face and following with a moisturizer. Dry your face with a towel and you are good to go. NB: you shouldn’t use the steam method more than once in seven days.
Hold the cotton ball or cotton swap on the lashes for a few minutes. You should hold the ball on the eyelash for some time to make it effective. It should start soaking the glue with time. Hold the cotton ball intact on the lashes to ensure it will work the right way. Place it close to the seam between the lid and the band.
Remove the remaining glue on the eyelid-There may be some glue residues left after removing the false eyelashes. You can remove this residue by simply soaking a fresh cotton ball and running it along the lid to remove the adhesive.
